Step 2: What About the Boys?
1. We will be reading an article about how boys are having more trouble understanding how they are supposed to behave.
2. We will Jigsaw the article, which means that each person will read a section of the article.
3. Mr. Westrup has highlighted for you the section of the article that you will read.
4. You will read your section to yourself three times.
- The first time you will just read it to understand what it is about. Underline the main idea of your section.
- The second time you will read it to look for words that you do not understand. Highlight the words that you do not understand.
- The third time you will read it to ask clarifying questions. Write down three questions that you have after reading the article (not about words you don't understand).
